Motability is a non-profit organisation and a registered charity that give disabled people access to safe, reliable and affordable cars.
Motability is always developing and refining the schemes and works closely with John Grose to find new ways to improve your experience as a customer.
Who is eligible? If you receive Higher Rate Component of the Disability Living Allowance or War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement and have at least 12 months' award length remaining then you can apply for the Motability Scheme as a driver or passenger. A parent or carer of a child aged three or over may also apply.
If you are not eligable for Motability, as a Blue Badge holder you might get a discount on selected John Grose vehicles.
Schemes Available - Motability offers the Contract Hire and Hire Purchase Schemes and Ford offers it's own Outright Purchase scheme to people with disabilities.
The Ford Motability schemes are available on selected models of all Ford cars excluding the New Ford Kuga.
The benefits are that John Grose will help and support you through out the cycle of your vehicle ownership. Adaptations do not need reinstallation every three years, there is no limit on annual mileage, business use as agreed with insurance company and any number of drivers will be accepted by insurance companies.
