The new Peugeot 508 has arrived.  Streamlined, elegant and refined, it delivers all the luxury of a modern saloon without sacrificing poise and performance.  Unique styliing touches, like its 'floating' front grille, give the car an unmistakable road presence.  Ideal for business and pleasure.

The New 508 will soon be available as an RXH Diesel Hybrid, with an electric motor which takes over from the HDi diesel engine in phases of lower power demands, particularly when starting up, driving at low speed and decelerating.  The stop start mechanism places the HDi diesel engine in standby and restarts it as and when required, for longer journeys or out of town driving.

This results in a combined fuel consumption figure of 56 miles per gallon for this 2.0 Diesel, whilst at the same time achieving maximum power of 200 bhp and 4 wheel drive.
