Charities of the Year 2020

Fancy being one of our Charities of the Year 2020?

Here at John Grose we take pleasure in assisting charities and therefore, each year we select 4 that we strongly support. We host an annual Motability Day and Charity Quiz Night to raise money for our charities, over the last 5 years we have raised over £19,500. We also include the charities in other events we host during the year (e.g Fast Ford Day, Suffolk Show, Framlingham Country Show, etc).

As well as raising funds, we also assist in promoting the charities. We do this by including them on our event advertisements such as flyers, emails, social media posts, newspaper ads, banners, and on our website. In addition to this, we also offer the charity the opportunity to attend our events with their own stand, to be able to talk to customers, sell their merchandise and handout any of their information. Alternatively, if they’re unable to make it they can send some of their information to us to have displayed. We also try to get involved with our charity’s own fundraising events through promotions and helping out if we can, for example offering a rental vehicle for a discounted rate or a raffle prize.

To ensure an equal and effective partnership, we have designed an application form that we would appreciate being completed before we make a decision. If you are a local charity and are interested in applying to be one of our Charities of 2020, please email rebeccaneale@johngrose.co.uk for the application form.
