Citroën DS3 wins WeLoveAnyCar National Car Award for Best SuperMini 2014
The Citroën DS3 fought off competition from the Fiat 500 and the Toyota Yaris.
The WeLoveAnyCar National Car Awards celebrate a ‘Great British enthusiasm, our mutual love affair with cars’. These awards – now in their second year – are on a very grand scale, decided by the results of Britain’s biggest ever car survey.
The DS brand has rejuvenated Citroën’s reputation, and much of that hinges on the success of the well-regarded DS3. Liked for its good driving manners, style and personality, the DS3 has praise heaped on it by owners. They say: “Superb design written all over it,” and “Stylish and practical hatch which is fun and exciting to drive.”
Citroën began production of the DS3 in 2009 and it was officially launched in January 2010. Since its inception, the DS3 has had many other triumphs, including 2010 Car of the Year by Top Gear Magazine and first supermini four times in a row by the JD Power Satisfaction Survey UK.
