COVID-19 Update 29th May
Since our last update, we’ve had the great news from the Government that we can re-open our showrooms from Monday 1st June.
This means we’ll be operational at all locations for Sales, Service and Parts, as well as for Rental and Accident Repair at Ipswich, not forgetting our team at the Spar supermarket in Melton who have remained open throughout.
We’ve received some fantastic feedback from customers who have visited our dealerships for servicing or to ‘click & collect’ new vehicles over the past few weeks and who have found the social distancing and safety measures we’ve put in place really reassuring.
Over the past week, cars and vans have continued to arrive from the manufacturers and the Sales teams have made further inroads into arranging outstanding vehicle deliveries. With more staff re-joining us from Monday, we hope to contact the majority of remaining customers by the end of next week – once again, thanks for your patience.
If you are waiting to take delivery of a new Motability car, please bear in mind that Motability suspended all hand-overs during the lock-down period and are planning a phased release of new vehicles over the next few weeks. We will be in touch once we know more, but in the meantime, existing contracts are being extended automatically to allow customers to continue using their current cars.
Finally, my thanks to our employees who, as in many industries, have worked tirelessly through these really challenging times.
All the best from the John Grose team.
In the meantime, please continue to email us via enquiries@johngrose.co.uk if you have any questions and we will come back to you as soon as we're able.
