Speaking about the Puma’s overall Car of The Year victory, Keith Adams, Editor of Parkers says: ‘Bursting on to the scene as a stylish, useful and affordable family-sized SUV, Ford has hit the bullseye with its latest – and quite brilliant – Puma. Powered by a range of economical mild-hybrid EcoBoost petrol engines, the Puma delivers all the pep most drivers need while delivering excellent fuel economy.'
Ford continued its winning streak with the Puma picking up ‘Best Small Family Car’, the Transit Custom winning 'Medium Van of the Year’, the Ranger collecting ‘Pick-up of the Year’ and the Fiesta receiving 'Used Car of the Year'.
CJ Hubbard, Parkers Van and Pickup Editor says: ‘Ford could easily be resting on its laurels with the Transit Custom, which has been the bestselling van in the UK since its introduction. But instead, it just keeps on expanding the Custom’s appeal, with a continuous programme of updates and the addition of new models to suit an even broader range of customers. From tough workhorse to plug-in hybrid to lifestyle accessory – and everything in between – this van now has so many talents it was the clear choice for the 2021 Parkers Van of the Year Award.’
