Frequently Asked Questions Re Unaccompanied Test Drives*
How long do unaccompanied test drives last?
So we can ensure that the vehicle is thoroughly sanitised again and ready for its next test drive, we ask that you're back within 30 minutes.
Can I bring a friend or family member with me?
Yes, unaccompanied means that you'll take your test drive without a member of the John Grose team in the vehicle with you. You can bring family members or friends who are part your safe Covid-19 support bubble.
Is there a set route?
We’ll suggest a route to give you a good mix of different roads, but you’re free to vary this should you choose.
Do I need to book an appointment?
We prefer it if you can book an appointment so that we can make sure the vehicle is available and sanitised in good time. Also, this allows us to confirm the insurance criteria and gives you the chance to complete the online driving licence and identity checks beforehand which will save you time on the day.
Video Appointments
Whilst we love to see you in person, we appreciate some people will still prefer to browse and buy from home. With this in mind we are offering video appointments and vehicle presentations which are really easy to use.
