New '7 Year Switch' Programme Replaces Scrappage
The Kia ‘7 Year Switch’ Scheme
Up to £2000 saving when part exchanging any 7-10 year old car for a new Kia.
With the scrappage scheme over, Kia have introduced a scheme which applies to vehicles aged between 7 and 10 years, and works in the same way as scrappage, giving a £2,000 saving against a new Soul or cee’d* and £1,500 against any new Picanto, Rio, Venga or cee’d Strike when part exchanging an eligible vehicle.
Exchanging a qualifying vehicle for a brand new one will also help reduce vehicle emissions and improve fuel efficiency, which is great for the environment but also for your pocket. With a new vehicle you have the potential to both significantly increase your Miles Per Gallon and reduce your annual road tax costs: with the emissions based car tax many new vehicles are eligible for the £35 per year bracket, and some qualify for the nil rate!
7 Year Switch Eligibility Checklist
Your vehicle qualifies for the scheme if it:
• Was first registered in the UK on or before 12th March 2003
• Has travelled less than 100,000 miles
• Is registered in the UK and has not been written off by an insurance company
• Has a valid MOT certificate at the time you order your new car
• Has been registered in your name at a UK address for 6 consecutive months with the DVLA when you place your order
