A good app to use to locate your nearest charging point, is Zapmap. This will allow you to search by location and find the nearest chargers to you, including rapid or high power charging stations.

When it comes to a public charging point, there are typically three different types of connection; CCS, CHADEMO & Type 2. The latter is usually limited to a 22kW speed and you'll need to use your own. Each charging station you come across will be managed by different companies.
