The E-TENSE models have several driving modes:

Electric Mode - always selected by default, enables you to reduce petrol consumption to a minimum (up to 34.8 miles in combined cycle (AER combined) and up to 40 miles in city cycle (EAER city) without using a drop of fuel): perfect for commuting. Experience a new sensation: quiet and serene inside, with a powerful and responsive powertrain.

Hybrid Mode - Automatically switching between 100% electric and 100% petrol or a combination of the two when needed, Hybrid Mode adapts to all driving conditions for the best possible use of electric power.

Sport Mode - Make the most of DS 4 E-TENSE’s driving dynamics for intense driving pleasure, by activating Sport Mode and enjoying the combined power of the internal combustion engine and electric motor whenever you want, with optimised mapping of the accelerator, gear changing, steering and adaptive suspension.

Comfort Mode - Based on Hybrid Mode, this activates DS ACTIVE SCAN SUSPENSION to adjust instantly how hard or soft the suspension is depending on the road surface, thereby guaranteeing you maximum comfort.
