As is being widely reported, much is changing within the retail motor industry. The move to electrification, together with the advances in technology allowing customers to enquire, view and purchase vehicles remotely, have led both manufacturers and retailers to reassess the number of dealership premises they will require in the future.

As a result, following a strategic review by both ourselves and Ford Motor Company we have taken the decision to close our Ford Dealership at Park Road, Diss on 28th July 2023.

“You could say it is more of a relocation” commented John Grose Chairman, Ian Twinley, “As pleasingly, we have been able to offer all our colleagues opportunities at other branches within the Group, so rest assured you will be warmly welcomed, quite possibly by a familiar face, at our Ipswich, Lowestoft or Woodbridge dealerships, all of which offer the services that customers enjoyed at Diss from our highly skilled team.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank the local community for your valued custom, John Grose began trading at the Park Road site in 1996, so this is a site with a great deal of history in it for us at John Grose, but we hope we can welcome you into to one of our other dealerships in the future.”

In terms of vehicle servicing, our contact centre will still keep in touch to remind you when your next service or MOT is needed, and of course we’ll continue to help with any warranty work, if required.
