John Grose Donates Boot-Load of Easter Eggs to Kick Off 2026 Easter Egg Appeal

We were delighted to support this year’s MacKenzie King Easter Egg Appeal by handing over a boot-load of Easter eggs to help spread some much‑needed joy across our community this Easter.

The appeal, which has become a much‑loved annual initiative, provides Easter treats to local families, young people and adults who may be facing difficult circumstances. Thanks to the generosity shown in previous years, the appeal has made a meaningful difference to those supported by a number of incredible local charities—and we’re proud to play our part once again.

For 2026, the appeal is supporting a wide range of organisations, including:

• St Elizabeth Hospice
• St Helena Hospice
• Survivors In Transition
• The Mix Ormiston Families
• Bury Drop In

These charities offer vital care and guidance to individuals affected by life‑limiting illness, homelessness, trauma and challenging life situations. Every Easter egg donated helps deliver a moment of comfort and joy to someone who truly needs it.

Our contribution this year filled the back of one of our vehicles, ready to be distributed by the MacKenzie King team as part of their growing community initiative. Community support is at the heart of the Easter Egg Appeal, and we’re pleased to have been able to help support.
