New Ford Focus ST emits from 125g/km of CO2
Ford has improved both the performance and efficiency of the Focus ST, in its latest generation.
The new model, based on the Focus that launched last year, is available with a diesel engine, alongside the flagship turbocharged petrol.
When it goes on sale in the summer, business drivers will be able to order a Focus ST 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel, which develops 190PS and 360Nm.
It has CO2 emissions of 125g/km and promises average fuel consumption of up to 50.4mpg.
The diesel motor gives a 0-60mph acceleration time of 7.6 seconds.

There is also a 2.3-litre petrol engine, which is more powerful, developing 280PS and 420Nm. It can accelerate from 0-60mph in less than six seconds - making this version the fastest Focus ST ever built. It emits from 179g/km and can achieve 34.4mpg.
Ford says the new Focus ST - based on the all-new car that launched last year - will be provide the best driving experience of any Focus ST.
It has lowered suspension, faster steering and larger brakes than a regular Focus, although Ford says ride comfort is not affected by the performance enhancements.
Exterior styling is enhanced with new bumpers, alloy wheels and a rear spoiler. Inside, recaro seats complete the transformation.
Technology includes a head-up display, adaptive cruise control, park assist and selectable drive modes.
Ford’s eight-inch SYNC 3 infotainment system comes fitted as standard.
The Ford Focus ST is available to order now in five-door hatchback and estate body styles.
