The Cleanest, Greenest, Compact Car Ever Produced By Citroen
There is a new gearbox, the Electronic Gearbox System (EGS) with paddle controls for better handling, part of Citroën's 'Creative Technologie' commitment. This version has CO2 emissions of just 104g/km and also boasts impressive fuel consumption at 62.8mpg on the combined cycle.
It packs plenty of great features in a 3.44m-long body such as daytime running lights, a CD audio system with Citroën's integrated Connecting Box for Bluetooth® compatibility. Customers can choose from a three- or five-door body and there's plenty of storage including a boot that can go from 139 litres to more than 700 litres with a few easy adjustments.
As well as being a practical car offering great value for drivers in the market for an entry-level vehicle, Citroën's designers have been busy making sure the newest C1 is more visually appealing than ever. There's a new colour, already on offer with the DS3 and C3, the fresh Botticelli blue. Other great colours on offer include Scarlet red, Electra blue, Lipizzan white, Caldera black and two greys, Gallium grey, which is light and Carlinite grey, which is darker. From the mid-range trim level, the New C1 will also feature a chrome strip on the grille.
Other design touches include a shorter bonnet and an LED light signature already on offer with the DS3 and C4 AIRCROSS. At the back, there's an innovative glass tailgate with Citroën's new-look chevrons. There is a new design for the wheels, the 14-inch 'Notus' design with 14-inch 'Rift' alloy wheels as standard on the top of the range models. Inside, there's a leather steering wheel on the EGS models, a new-look gearstick for the manual models and new fabric upholstery choices as well as the option of Leather/Alcantara®.
Safety is always a priority in every segment for Citroën so with that in mind, the New C1 has plenty to offer, including ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), ESP and ISOFIX anchorage points.
The new Citroën C1 is on sale now from just £6,995 on the road.
