A fantastic new opportunity has been created for an Apprentice Technician at our Ford dealership in Woodbridge.

You will be working in a busy workshop environment, where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing motor vehicles to high standards.

Your duties will include:

• Undertake maintenance, service, repair and warranty activities on motor vehicles to the highest standards
• Attend manufacturer training course’s as required
• Carry out all work completely and effectively whilst adhering to Company and manufacturer’s timescales and standards of workmanship
• Effectively record details of works undertaken and components utilized
• Keep work area clean and tidy, organised and safe from hazards, together with adhering to all health and safety requirements
• Be able to work effectively with colleagues and customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• Educated to A Level or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Team player
• Full driving license
• Attention to detail
• Motivated to progress and keenness to learn

Working hours will be 40 per week for applicants under the age 18, over 18-year-olds will be required to work an average of 41.67 hours per week. Monday and Friday 8.00am to 17.00pm and Saturdays 08.00 to 13.00 (1 in 3 Saturdays).

The apprenticeship will last a minimum of 36 months with the possibility of a permanent position, continued learning to include becoming a Ford qualified Technician and salary review.

Salary: £12,000 per annum, (during apprenticeship, reviewed annually)
