Suffolk Mind Gears Up for Tour of Britain Thanks to Local Support

At John Grose, we’re always proud to support our local community—especially when it comes to organisations making a real difference to people’s lives. So when Henry Tapp from Suffolk Mind reached out last week, we were happy to help!

Here's what Henry had to say:

"Working in the charity sector, I never take for granted offers of assistance or funding.

I also believe that there should be no expectation that this will be forthcoming, just because you work for a great cause.

With that in mind, I want to do a HUGE shout-out to John Grose for the very kind loan of a brand-new Transit Custom to facilitate Suffolk Mind's Tour of Britain presence this week.

I speculatively contacted them last week to check hire pricing and without hesitation, they offered it to us with their compliments. No questions asked.

Absolutely first-class Sarah Frost, Martin Abbott, Matthew Blower & Ian Twinley MBE DL.

Securing a motor allowed us to take up the University of Suffolk's generous offer of a Wattbike loan, again following a very speculative enquiry.

Thanks to Carolyn Bugg, Valerie Gladwell and Laura M. for facilitating so swiftly.

Suffolk at its best.
The Tour of Britain started in Suffolk on 2nd September, with the initial leg finishing in Southwold, where we will be all day, near the pier.

Come and see us and have a go at our Wattbike challenge. Win some cool stuff!

Thanks again to John Grose & University of Suffolk
