Senior Service Advisor

We are looking to recruit an experienced automotive Senior Service Advisor to join our reception team, with a proven track record of working within a busy Aftersales Department.

You will be expected to provide first class customer service whilst maintaining a profit contribution to the dealership.  

You will lead and be responsible for the Service Department Reception and personnel along with all customer handling processes, to ensure complete customer satisfaction all the time.


                KEY TASKS

  • Liaise with Technicians, Service Administrators, Quality Controller, Parts Department, Service Manager and Sales Departments as appropriate.

  • Monitor all work in progress, reporting any areas of concern to the Service Manager.

  • Ensure either directly or through others that all Reception paperwork and systems are efficiently administered in a timely manner and that invoices are accurately prepared prior to customer’s collection of vehicle.

  • Drive the profitability of the Aftersales Department by ensuring opportunities to up-sell products and services is maximised.

  • Ensure that Service Reception is operated in accordance with agreed opening times.

  • Ensure either directly or through others that all manufacturers’ training standards are achieved

  • Ensure that all Warranty jobs are correctly processed as far as Reception is concerned as per the Manufacturer’s Warranty Manual.

  • Ensure all franchise requirements for customer satisfaction targets are exceeded.

  • Ensure either directly or through others that the day to day activities of Service Reception are carried out efficiently, in accordance with Company Policy whilst promoting a professional and positive public image at all times.

  • To lead the Service Reception by example and create a positive, responsible environment



  • High level of communication skills and a positive attitude towards the staff and customers.

  • Automotive service industry knowledge would be preferred.

  • Experience of working in a fast paced service environment.

  • Being able to manage and motivated a team of service advisors effectively and efficiently.

  • Good standards of English, Maths and IT.

  • Full driving licence.
