Accident and Repair Centre Receptionist/Administrator

Good customer service is at the heart of any successful operation, therefore, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic team player with a passion for delivering excellent customer service to join our fast-paced accident and repair centre as an administrator/receptionist.

Key responsibilities

  • Contacting customer within agreed time scales
  • Managing insurance companies via telephone and email
  • Updating and maintaining accurate customer and vehicle records
  • Booking customers vehicles in for repair
  • Allocate and manage courtesy vehicles
  • Give vehicle progress reports to customers
  • Manage drivers’ diaries
  • Invoice and collect customers excess at the end of a repair
  • Invoice insurance company final repair costs
  • Debt chasing

The successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • First class telephone manner
  • Accurate with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and able to multitask
  • IT literate. Kerridge and Autoflow experience would be an advantage but not essential
  • Flexible approach is required Monday-Friday and Saturday morning on a rota basis
